Bio

Follow the honesty. Hip-Hop as art. DJ Caique comes for the scene in 1995. He started to make beats in 2003, based on years of serious researches. To listen, understand and get inspired by Jazz, Funk, soundtracks, ProgRock, Metal and many others.

He is member of Creative Juices since 2004, doing a musical bridge between São Paulo and NYC. He produced beats on albums like “Divine Kindgom” [2006] of IDE and Alucard’s album “Watch Them Fall” [2008]. In 2009 he produced beats for IDE and DJ Connect’s “Table of Content”, and also for the album “Chronicles 2” by Jise. For 2010 he is promising an stoney joint-venture called DJ Caique VS Creative Juices.

DJ Caique also runs an indie Hip-Hop label in Brazil: 360°Graus Records. He is today one of the most talented producers at the Brazilian scene and his label stood as the most prolific one.
Confirming the label’s quality at each album released. But not only on discs, his live-set made part of the most important festivals of the country.

DJ Caique can also make his role as MC, with his alter ego Dr. Caligari. Rhyming over political and social themes, over the terror that we are drowned in, and putting over some faces the harsh reality of life. Supported by heavy beats made in a classic terror movie-like atmosphere, on what he is a master.
